Rennes School of Business renews its EQUIS accreditation for a maximum of 5 years

Rennes School of Business has had its EQUIS accreditation renewed for a maximum period of 5 years, joining the circle of 12 French business schools benefiting from the EFMD’s most selective recognition and confirming its place among the world’s elite business schools.

Rennes School of Business has had its EQUIS accreditation renewed for a maximum period of 5 years. It joins the circle of 12 French business schools benefiting from the EFMD’s most selective recognition and confirms its place among the world’s elite business schools. Among the points praised by the peer review committee: the differentiation supported by the school’s strategic plan, the solidity of its international positioning and the strong anchoring of CSR at Rennes SB.

A strategy of differentiation acclaimed by one of the most demanding accreditations in higher education

Obtaining EQUIS accreditation for 5 years confirms Rennes SB’s new strategic direction. With the ambition of becoming an international benchmark in transformation and innovation, the School is taking a new direction. It will continue to provide increasingly demanding training in the business expertise that lies at the heart of organisations, while at the same time differentiating itself by providing new skills that are specific to Unframed Leaders, innovative leaders who accelerate transformations for a better world. In addition to their skillset, Unframed Leaders develop a mindset that Rennes SB sums up in 3Cs: Create, Connect, Change. They create new ideas, connect teams to get them on board, and drive change. This is at the heart of the School’s promise in response to a job market disrupted by major transformations.

International reach and innovation in support of CSR are recognised as major competitive advantages

The school’s international dimension is a doubly strong foundation: on the one hand, it is a powerful lever of attractiveness, and on the other, it nurtures the school’s open-mindedness in the face of global transformations. With almost 90% of its professors coming from abroad, more than 100 nationalities present on its two campuses and an active alumni network throughout the world, Rennes SB is more in tune than ever with global developments.

Similarly, the School’s commitment to active responsibility is valued as a powerful asset, reinforced by a culture of innovation. Whether in terms of academic training, professional experience or corporate commitment, Rennes SB is at the forefront of fully integrating innovation into its approach to responsibility.

Although 100% of our students are trained in CSR, they are also involved in innovative, high-impact field experiments. These experiences lead them to think about strengthening CSR through innovation, for example by proposing sustainable solutions and green technologies. This is the very mission of Unframed Leaders: innovative leaders who accelerate transformations for a better world. It also testifies to the fundamental role of social responsibility and innovation in students’ careers at the school.

"Obtaining EQUIS accreditation for 5 years as we embark on our 2024-2028 strategic plan further strengthens our energy and determination. Rennes SB will continue to offer its students a world-class education in all management disciplines, in tune with the issues of the day, while becoming a benchmark school for innovation and transformation. This recognition is a strong signal of which we are very proud, attesting to our solid position in the global landscape of excellent management schools and rewarding the commitment of our entire community.”
